Dr Tolan joined CCC in August 2009 after completing his oncology training at the Christie. As part of his training he undertook a 12 month fellowship in Toronto where he gained excellent clinical experience in treating urological cancers.

Dr Tolan is a graduate of the University of Wales College of Medicine specialising in Breast & Urological Cancer. He shares the responsibility for the general oncology service at Warrington Hospital, and will form part of the Acute Oncology Team which will be established in the Trust. In addition, he shares responsibility for the urological cancer service on the Wirral.
