Molly Doyle, now 22 from Colwyn Bay, was just starting her second year of university when she started developing what she describes as ‘flare ups’ of hip pain that turned out to be a rare form of cancer called a Ewing’s sarcoma that was treated by experts at the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Liverpool.

Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting and Wirral South MP Alison McGovern have made visits to The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre's specialist hospitals in Liverpool and Wirral to speak to patients and staff and hear about the pioneering treatments and services they provide.

The Neuro-Oncology team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre have received their Centre of Excellence award in brain tumour care at a glittering awards ceremony organised by the Tessa Jowell Brain Cancer Mission. The award recognises the Liverpool Network's commitment to brain tumour treatment, research and care. The Liverpool Network is a partnership between The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, The Walton Centre and North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre.
