We have over 130 Therapeutic Radiographers here at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, including newly qualified Therapeutic Radiographer Emily Jones. Emily trained with us as part of her student placement before supporting the team during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Linda Boyne has worked as a counsellor for The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust’s haemato-oncology department for the past 18 years. Having previously been a nurse, Linda now provides emotional support to people with various forms of blood cancer and their families.

A local sculptor, famous for the bronze statue of Cilla Black on Mathew Street, has created a piece of artwork that will become a lasting legacy for a new cancer hospital. Created by Wirral-based artist Emma Rodgers, the large metal sculpture of a tree, entitled Primavera, is situated at the new Clatterbridge Cancer Centre – Liverpool, which opened in June.
